Community Guidelines

Roamigoo is a travel community. These Community Guidelines explain what is and is not allowed across profiles, messages, hangouts, communities, listings, references, media, and feedback areas.

1. Be respectful

Treat travelers, hosts, partners, and community members with respect. Do not harass, bully, shame, threaten, stalk, dox, or target anyone based on identity, nationality, gender, race, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, immigration status, or other protected traits.

2. Keep travel safe

• Do not pressure people to meet, share location, share private photos, send money, or leave safe public places.
• Do not create misleading hangouts, fake bookings, fake profiles, or unsafe plans.
• Do not promote illegal activity, violence, weapons misuse, self-harm, exploitation, or dangerous challenges.
• Use official emergency services if someone is in immediate danger.

3. No sexual exploitation or abuse

Roamigoo does not allow sexual exploitation, non-consensual sexual content, sexual harassment, trafficking, grooming, or content involving minors. We may remove content, ban accounts, preserve evidence, and report to authorities when appropriate.

4. No hate or violent extremism

Do not promote hate, dehumanization, violence, terrorism, extremist recruitment, or targeted abuse. Travel should be welcoming and safe for people from different backgrounds.

5. Authentic profiles and listings

Use accurate profile, host, partner, booking, and community information. Do not impersonate others, fake verification, misrepresent ratings, copy another person’s content, or list accommodations or tours you are not authorized to offer.

6. Photos, videos, and voice notes

Only share media you have the right to share. Do not upload private, intimate, violent, graphic, illegal, copyrighted, or misleading media. Respect other people’s consent before posting them.

7. Messaging rules

Do not spam, scam, harass, threaten, send unwanted sexual messages, request sensitive information, or move conversations off Roamigoo to avoid safety tools. If someone does not want to continue a conversation, respect that.

8. Communities and hangouts

Communities and hangouts should be accurate, lawful, and relevant to travel, local discovery, partner spaces, or social connection. Do not use them for spam, illegal sales, political manipulation, harassment, or unsafe gatherings.

9. Reporting, blocking, and moderation

Users can report concerning content or behavior through the app where available or by contacting support@roamigoo.com. Users can also block abusive users where the app provides blocking tools. Roamigoo reviews reports and may remove content, restrict accounts, or take other action based on risk and policy violations.

10. Enforcement

Violations may lead to content removal, reduced visibility, feature restrictions, community removal, account suspension, account termination, partner removal, or reports to law enforcement. Serious safety issues may be escalated quickly.

11. Appeals

If you believe action was taken by mistake, contact support@roamigoo.com with your account email, username, and a clear explanation.
