This Privacy Policy explains how Roamigoo collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects information when people use the Roamigoo mobile apps, websites, support channels, and related services.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Roamigoo, we may collect the following information:

• Account information: name, username, email address, authentication details, profile photo, age or age range, gender if provided, language preferences, and account settings.
• Profile and travel information: bio, travel style, visited countries, lived-in countries, favorite destinations, wishlist destinations, profile showcase media, host profile details, references, reputation, verification status, and travel pass details.
• Location information: approximate or precise location if you allow location access, nearby visibility settings, map-based discovery, and location attached to hangouts, partner listings, or travel plans.
• Communications and user content: messages, message requests, temporary messages, photos, videos, voice notes, reports, support requests, community posts, hangouts, comments, and feedback submitted in Roamigoo Vision.
• Booking and partner information: booking requests, saved listings, hotel, hostel, tour, partner community, and business account information when relevant.
• Device and usage information: device type, operating system, app version, diagnostics, crash logs, notification tokens, app interactions, security logs, and fraud-prevention signals.
• Payment information: if payments are enabled through a third-party provider, payment details are processed by that provider and Roamigoo receives limited transaction status information.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide, maintain, protect, and improve Roamigoo, including to:

• Create and manage accounts, profiles, verification, host profiles, and partner accounts.
• Show nearby travelers, local plans, communities, destination guides, and partner offers.
• Enable messages, requests, hangouts, bookings, community spaces, and support conversations.
• Personalize discovery, search, recommendations, safety prompts, notifications, and user settings.
• Moderate content, investigate reports, enforce policies, prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and safety risks.
• Debug, analyze, secure, and improve app performance and reliability.
• Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, safety, and store-review obligations.

3. Location choices

Location-based features are optional. You can control location permissions through your device settings and in-app privacy settings. If you turn off location access or visibility, some nearby traveler, map, hangout, and discovery features may not work as intended.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in these limited cases:

• With other users: profile details, public posts, hangouts, references, verification signals, partner listings, and other content you choose to make visible.
• With service providers: cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, maps, authentication, messaging, storage, email, support, payment, and security providers who help operate Roamigoo.
• With business partners: information needed to support booking requests, partner listings, official partner communities, or customer support.
• For safety and legal reasons: when needed to protect users, investigate abuse, enforce our terms, comply with law, or respond to lawful requests.
• During a business transfer: if Roamigoo is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets.

5. User-generated content and moderation

Roamigoo includes user-generated profiles, messages, photos, videos, voice notes, hangouts, communities, feedback, and listings. We may review, restrict, remove, or preserve content when it may violate our policies, create safety risk, or be needed for legal or moderation purposes.

6. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Roamigoo, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect safety, and maintain security. Temporary messages may be removed sooner according to the feature settings. Some records may be retained after account deletion when required for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, financial records, or dispute handling.

7. Account deletion and data requests

You may request account deletion and associated data deletion in the Roamigoo app where available, or through our web request path at roamigoo.com/contact. You can also email privacy@roamigoo.com with the subject “Account deletion request.” We may need to verify that you control the account before completing the request.

When deletion is completed, we delete or de-identify account data unless retention is necessary for safety, legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute-resolution reasons.

8. Your choices

• Update profile information and privacy settings in the app.
• Turn off location, camera, microphone, photos, or notification permissions in device settings.
• Block users, report content, or leave communities and hangouts.
• Request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information where applicable.
• Unsubscribe from non-essential emails when unsubscribe tools are available.

9. Children and age limits

Roamigoo is intended for users who are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority required in their location. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

10. International users

Roamigoo may process information in countries other than where you live. We use reasonable safeguards for cross-border processing where required by law.

11. Security

We use technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service is completely secure, so users should choose strong passwords, protect their devices, and report suspicious activity.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Roamigoo changes. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users through the app, website, or other appropriate channels.
